gee, I had just the opposite impression. He commented that Mason should be HC but isn't going to happen.

I interpreted that as him thinking now that Jen is gone it would be nice if Mason took over otherwise why would he even make the comment

The most likely reason that Durall played for South Houston in his senior year is because his family moved to Pasadena. But what were his stats there? And would he have been the main RB at Lamar last season?
