Looks like NTSU is losing 13 starters-6 Offensive 7 Defensive
SMU is losing 9 starters-4 Offensive 5 Defensive
I wouldn't be surprised if the NTSU game is going to be a very tough win for SMU. They would rather beat SMU than any other team, the game will sellout and its going to be a hostile environment. Tough win

The hotel is owned by the City of Dallas and operated by Omni. They put all sorts of teams and organizations in their light show - usually associated with a big event going on in the area (and especially if it's in Dallas) or a convention they are hosting. In this case, the event is Heart of Dallas Bowl.
And UNT will beat SMU because we are always their Super Bowl.

UNT loses more key starters than SMU next year. They are going to struggle. No need to worry imo.
We have key starters other than Gilbert?

We are going to smash UNT next year so quit the yappin about what lower quality players we will have compared to this last year. Our kids were young and next years team will be a bowl team and AAC championship contender.

Which team will be facing the hostile environment, SMU or ntsu?

A quick reminder that SMU allowed U NORTH Texas to open a downtown campus for law school which opens next fall in the old Dallas courthouse on Main Street. They also now have an Arts school and admin offices downtown Dallas on Elm Street across from the courthouse.
SMU should have fought to make sure that their brand became the only law campus downtown......downtown is exploding and NTSU has their footprint in our city now.

Ponyscott, how could have SMU fought that?

The law school concept downtown was up for grabs....SMU wasn't aggressive enough to make the move IMHO. If I were SMU....I would have fought to make certain that NTSU didn't infiltrate the Dallas area. Granted it is more oriented to traffic law but why allow them into the heart of Dallas. I'm sure there were politics involved, but still...The downtown of Dallas is exploding right now and a satellite SMU law school campus would have been a signature move for decades to come.
