I suppose he listed all the teams that he has beaten that recruit those players. Lets see, as far as I know that list would consist of TCU and Pitt. Otherwise, he has yet to be able to EVEN COMPETE with ANY of the old Southwest Conference teams that he has played since he began coaching at SMU. Really PATHETIC!

And we re-upped after this past season? I sincerely hope some of these posters are right about the minimal buy-out or it will be 3 more years at the bottom of the conference. At least we can be assured that there is NO WAY he will beat any of out old SW foes! BTW, we signed him to this extension while he still had one year left on his old contract. What happens if the buyout is, in fact, much larger than originally thought preventing his firing next year. If it comes down to one more year left on the new contract do we sign him to, yet again, another 3 year contract to help him "recruit"?

If for some inexplicable reason June has a prohibitive buyout in his extension then this program will be in extremely serious trouble. He simply cannot be our HC past 2014 and our upcoming season should make that abundantly clear.

Hart was there. I would guess around 150 in attendance. Probably 90% over 50. Pretty subdued. I left when the softball questions began. Wish I had stayed at home.

I don't care if this guy wins 6 by accident or act of God. I can stomach a re-build by a coach who WANTS to be at SMU; I cannot stomach a tear down by someone who clearly doesn't.

Plans changed last night and I had the time to spend with my wife catching up. 150 people - WOW that is like 1/10th that went three four years ago. I remember fighting your way into the hall and having no food left and it was hard to find a seat.

OK, some was the weather but mostly its lack of effort from the Head Coach.

Sure hope he changes his mind and does some hitting in pre season... otherwise it will be game three again before the team warms up to the speed of the game.
