Our AAC Home Games:
- Houston
- Memphis
- USF
- Cincinnati
Our AAC Away Games:
- UCF
- UConn
- Tulsa
- ECU
Note our closest conference mates (UH, Tulsa, Memphis and Tulane) are all on the schedule, plus strong Cincinnati and ECU teams, as well as both Florida schools.
looks like 4-4 at best to me
losses will probably be Houston, Cincy, UCF, and ECU
Tulsa and USF look like toss ups that will likely be won by the healthier team
UConn and Memphis should be wins regardless.
with OOC I see losses to A&M, TCU, and Baylor
UNT is probably a win considering how many seniors they graduated
so for a full season prediction I will say this year is likely a 5-7 year. I don't see it getting better than 6-6 or worse than 4-8.

No attendance draw at home from any of those teams.........

SMU shouldn't have to rely on the opponent to bring fans especially when in a city as big as Dallas and the stadium is only 30k. Though there will be a few thousand Coogs there.
So Houston will have more fans at a road football game in Dallas than at their home basketball games?

Cougar King brings solid information to back his point. A lot of returning starters and solid returning starters at key positions. He generally makes decent points from an obvious UH prejudice. I have no trouble with that kind of poster because they generally provide balance to the insane cheerleading comments of SMU homers-(did someone say SMU has the talent to win the AAC? HaHa!) I don't know how anybody confused Cougar King with FTH who doesn't know his head from his [deleted] about college football.

I agree. The blindly optimistic cheerleader and the biased outsider are pretty standard fare on fan boards, but these two have next to nothing in common.
Unless we're seeing an Edward Norton in
Primal Fear situation here. If that's the case, color me impressed.

So ECU is supposed to be good huh?
God the AAC is terrible in football. We should be running the table by now. Just depressing.

ECU is and has been a very competitive football program; they always schedule ACC teams in the non-conference and they win their share of those game. We can talk when we start beating some Big XII teams

We have a good record against ECU...let's not put them on a pedestal...we should be favorites to win our conference with this schedule but clearly we won't...

ECU was #45 in composite rankings last year and was 10-3 with a win at UNC and a 5 pt loss to Va Tech. Not too shabby.
