EDIT- I haven't heard what he said about Sam. My dislike for Hansen goes back to David Stanley.

Having something positive to say about Dale Hansen and being an SMU fan are mutually exclusive items.
He's a complete hypocrite and only does things to grab headlines.

When did Sam say he loved another man? He only said he is gay (sexually attracted to them.). Love and sexual attraction are two different things.

Great point... Also, Dale Hansen has no idea how Michael Sam is going to react towards other males in the locker room in the future just as most of the NFL GM's don't know that the players they draft are going to have issues down the road (some players with sketchy pasts turn out great and others not so much).
I don't like Dale (SMU death penalty/arrogance) and I am sure he just looked at John Stewart's "Viral Video" and did a serious version of it himself to get press on a very hot issue currently.

If you are a straight man showering with a bunch of women you might not find 100% of them attractive but you couldn't help but be turned on by some of them. Are you saying he would not be sexually attracted to any of his teammates? I'm not saying he shouldn't be welcomed (there are plenty of closeted players already) but I do see how some teammates would find being nude around him uncomfortable.

Yep, sexual orientation has nothing to do with football, leave that to the politicians.
