Should be a fine start to the June Jones Farewell Tour. Can't wait-love the Baylor roadtrip. Actually after going through cross-town traffic back and forth to Ft. Worth last year-this may be our easiest roadtrip.

Yes, because what we say here has an affect on the players and coaches

I see no problem with saying they'll put up 70. June has never had his team prepared to play opening night since we don't do any kind of hitting in practice. Prepare for missed tackles galore.

More like freaking idiots on the coaching staff that built a roster unable to beat legit competition.

Can't blame the athletic department for the schedule......by year 6, surely they figured JJ would have established a competitive program. I put the blame on our weak program 100% on June Jones and his lack or recruiting, etc etc. Guessing that had the funds been available, it would be the first game for our new coach as well.

If June was doing the job he is paid to do playing Baylor in year 7 should not be a problem.

If I were Baylor, coming off the UCF loss, opening a new stadium, playing SWC private school rival in nearest big media market, I would MURDER us by 100 Pardee style.

he's only had 7 years to get ready for Baylor-where was Baylor when June Jones was hired? Did any person on this board consider scheduling Baylor 7 years into his tenure on a contract worth 2 million a year to be much of a problem? Someone forgot to hit the recruiting trail.....UhOh

Oh and for the record this game has been on the schedule long before Baylor decided to build that stadium. Should we [deleted] down our legs for a 2nd straight year to avoid playing our 2nd closest historic rivalry?

My guess is we will hold the ball and milk the clock to limit their possessions and scoring chances- June will consider 48-10 a moral victory

Just makes me sick to my stomach that this is the situation we're in (STILL). Going to go get embarrassed (again!) against a [Deleted] school in a [Deleted] town with a scumbag for a president. I'm just hoping Baylor won't be ranked in the top 25 when the season opens and the game won't be nationally televised so the [deleted] beating won't be too visible.

Hard to milk the clock when you throw the ball 35 yards downfield on 3rd and 2 after only 1 set of downs....

I'm honestly scared to think of what the offense is going to go back to now that Mumme has left

I agree with Stallion.

BU and A&M were scheduled in years 5,6,7 because JJ was going to have a BCS level team and competing with / beating a former SWC team would make a statement that SMU is back.

These were meant to be our statement games with the added revenue benefit.

Too bad JJ gave up in year 3.

So the score will be largely whatever BU and A&M want it to be. A&M will pull the starters at half but BU has a history of running up the score when they can. A&M is a classier, more confident program.... BU still piles on when they can. Which is why I like to see BU get beat and loved the UCF game.

Baylor will be a Top 15 team IMO

lol at blaming Orsini for scheduling this game.
