Yeah. They would be nice if they were not illegal in college ball.

That is the best I've ever seen. I don't get why our AD has not made it happen.

I like the silver American uniform for the kids, but keep the basic look for the rest.

Been there done that already and it was a disaster. Too many bad associations with everything that was wrong with post-DP SMU football.

YES! Much better.
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

These are by far the best.

These are what we need

I like these more. The ones are posted are cool too, but if the choice comes down to mine vs. these, these win.

Hart said that they are considering these, (that I believe smu1523 developed) and would need to get some sort of approval from our PonyFan that mocked these up. I am sure someone has the posts on another thread.
Never seen so much positive agreement on uniforms as these, any of them would be great.

Here's the link to the Straight From the Hart where Rick talked about the unis:

3 things I hope individuals who like to design uniforms should use as a "done criteria" are:
  • The mascot for our uniforms is the Mustang, pointed left. It's red, always red.
  • Our shade of red and blue are precise colors; Harvard Red and Yale Blue, no changing them.
  • We're the SMU Mustangs, not "Mustangs". The school logo should be priority #1, when practical.
The rest is creative freedom.
