Would love to finish the season in the Top 25, but even if we don't - we are still playing with house money.

At the start of the year, we were just hoping to make it into the tournament...thoughts of a Top 25 ranking were largely with eyes toward next year.

These guys have been a real treat to watch this year, and to be part of the experience at Moody has been beyond my expectations. We are a year ahead of schedule, as far as the success meter is concerned...next year is going to be other-worldly.

Oregon voter has us at 24.

Scratch that. It just shows our losses but the list is week of March 3rd...sorry.

Steve Orsini will not be pleased that we're no longer in the top 25. Hate to disappoint him.

Read it again. dropped to #25. not out of the top 25.

SMU is a newbie to playing at a high level, and doesn't have the "cache" name like teams in the Big 12, ACC, Big10, PAC 12. . . If SMU had the "name equity," they would move up the rankings after losses like teams in those conferences.

Right where I figured we'd be. It's a nice thing to have, but the real fun is just beginning.
