Would love to finish the season in the Top 25, but even if we don't - we are still playing with house money.
At the start of the year, we were just hoping to make it into the tournament...thoughts of a Top 25 ranking were largely with eyes toward next year.
These guys have been a real treat to watch this year, and to be part of the experience at Moody has been beyond my expectations. We are a year ahead of schedule, as far as the success meter is concerned...next year is going to be other-worldly.

SMU is a newbie to playing at a high level, and doesn't have the "cache" name like teams in the Big 12, ACC, Big10, PAC 12. . . If SMU had the "name equity," they would move up the rankings after losses like teams in those conferences.

Right where I figured we'd be. It's a nice thing to have, but the real fun is just beginning.
