Clemppppson is the worst because the bars close at 12 on Saturday nights because you can't drink on Sunday

SMU has played at Madison Square Garden only once, a 76-72 loss to St. John's on Dec. 7, 1950.
Lets Pony Up! Beat Clemson!

Having grown up in South Carolina I am extremely excited about this match up. When it came down to choose a college it was between SMU and Clemson. I chose SMU. However, Clemson was my team growing up. I can't wait to see my alma mater play them! SMU has certainly transformed into a basketball destination.

And you live in Columbia - surprised Cocky the [deleted] has raided your house to burn all of your IPTAY gear.
Also Groucho's for the win.

Re: Official SMU vs. Clemppppson Thread - Garden Style
Anteaters, Tigers and Bears, oh my. Oh boy we get Tigers again. No points for originality there. Since Clemson wears that ugly bright orange, let's pretend that they are the Whorns and just beat the stuffing out of them. Good ACC team, so it should be a great test for us. We've now beaten a regular season champion, a good SEC team, a good P12 team, its time to add an ACC pelt to our belt. We won't have home court advantage this time, so we'll need to really play our best . Clemson has a very loyal following, but New York is out of their comfort zone.
UNC better keep that Ram away from Peruna

I spend half my time in Greenville, SC (30 minutes from Clemson) and work with a lot of Clemson grads, including my paralegal - this is going to be a fun week!

Re: Official SMU vs. Clemppppson Thread - Garden Style
Greetings fellow court-stormers!
Looks like we'll be butting heads in the Garden next week. Like most Clemson folks, all we know about y'all is most folks had you in the Dance, but for some perverse reason the Wuffies got there instead.
But in watching the game last night, it's clear that, like our guys, y'all have chosen to ride this train as far as it goes. And if last night was an indication, your fans love the Ponies like we love our Tigers. Tough, scrappy teams that are proving their worth.
Since we've never played basketball in April, it's new ground for us. And for the team picked to finish next-to-last in the ACC (btw, a your SC-based folks will attest, there is NO LOVE lost between Clemson and our conference overlords) we've relished playing after the Tobacco Road teams have been shut down.
The Tigers pride themselves on defense. We have to, since our offense is nothing to be proud of. WE play a tough straight-up man, but if the situation merits, we go to a 1-3-1 trapping zone. It's not always pretty ... in fact, it's rarely pretty aside from the flashes of KJ McDaniel and his ESPN highlights ... but it gets the job done.
Just wanted to say congrats ... and hope we can share some intel between now and Tuesday.

welcome Rev.
Brownell has you guys playing really well - he was a great coach at UNCW from 2002-2006.

Welcome to the board Rev Dodd. In between the madness of this weekend, I am going to try and watch a few of the Clemson games to get a feel for the team. The last game I say down and watched was the Dook W.
Looking forward to Tuesday night.

Just research KJ Mcdaniels. kid is legit.
6'6 270
17.2 PPG
7 RPG
51% EFG %
28.7 PER
2.26 win share / 40
KJ Mcdaniels is not 270
But dude is a baller for sure.
