Loved Wally Lynn, and I love RP. He had way outgrown his Ticket position.

He gave us many, many plugs on the Ticket, that we wouldn't have gotten otherwise.

And if we could replace him with someone that is on the ticket regularly, i would consider it for this reason. NTSU wouldn't get 90% of their mentions on the ticket if it weren't for George Dunham doing play by play for football and basketball.

I was hoping basketball could get on the Ticket next year, but we would have to compete with the Stars as they are also on the Ticket.

Let's focus on getting a better analyst to pair with Rich Phillips before we complain about Rich. There are many times this year where I have wished for a Rich only broadcast.

There wasn't the demand to carry this team's rights until this year. Wasn't the story that we were begging stations to take on the broadcasts and KAAM was the only one that would do it? That might be an exaggeration.

I'm sure now that the demand is there, SMU will see if it can find a better deal and better station. If you go with the ticket, I'm sure the Stars conflicts would just push some of the games to 570 like it did with football.

I don't pay attention to the all-sports stations in town. I just don't listen to them. But wouldn't 105.3 FM be worth investigating?

It would be nice to have a radio station that reached past Mesquite at night!

I believe Hart said one more year on the contract. He has handled a few comments at least on the signal quality or lack thereof. No commitment what would happen after that.

You'd think 105.3 or something might find it worthwhile to buy out KAAM and get on this train while it's gaining momentum.

I'll bet that the one year left is one year of SMU paying KAAM not the other way around. Bet that changes next go around
