What do you mean this kind of crap you idiot? We are going to be going after several players that will probably have individual announcements days in the future. I he wanted to come to SMU LB would gladly have him, so don't fool yourself with this holier than though mess. We recruited him hard and just may have lost out. It happens. The article wasn't didn't even have an interview with Turner. And now we are bad mouthing Turner even before the decision date.

Do what? He gave a date to announce and is announcing his commitment. If ESPN wants to carry the announcement fine. Football players and basketball players do this all the time. And in the future we will probably be going after other players that will set a date and announce. Elijah Thomas may do this. We just aren't accustom to this but as we go after more highly regarded players we should get accustom to it.

There have been plenty of opportunities for the 2014 class to announce their decisions. I don't understand why this guy has to have a special announcement all to himself. I still hope we get him though.

We obviously disagree on the details of how the announcement will be made and there is no reason to argue it on a message board. I love the fact we are recruiting these types of players and I hope it continues.

There are still 2014 players that have not announced there decision other Than Turner. Darrick Wood just recently announced this week and McCaw just recently announced. Just because he is not on your time table don;t get mad a the kid. If another athlete wants to announce on the 30th they are free to do so as there are several that still have not committed yet. Maybe 2014 SMU target Dominique Matthews will announce after Turner does.

Give it a break if you think this is just a kid making an announcement and ESPNU just deciding to cover it. This is coordinated and no one has to like it whether he comes to SMU or not.

You would have to assume that SMU coaching staff would be near the location of announcement if it was SMU. Just check LB's schedule for Wednesday 3 pm CST.
