I hear you, but you know how this game is played when it comes to offers. When you're verbally offered, you're offered.
But if you are offered and that school (in this case Kansas) probably hasn't talked to you in several months, that probably tells you that they're really no longer considering you. It's probably not a committable offer but it was extended.
BTW, I talked to someone after you posted and you are right that it sounds like KU did back off -- so I'll fall on the sword for that one. They said King tried to call Self last night and got no answer. Hmmm.

I'm not going to knock King as far as the comments about him slipping in ratings. . . He made the decision he felt was best for him

Sorry, I'm just a big jerk. Baylor got a top-notch player that would be a great addition to any program. Scott Drew beats everyone again.
