Anyone have any suggestions of distilleries to visit outside of the large mainstream one? I'm looking forward to trying a few whiskies that I've never had access to previously.

If you have time, rent a car and go to Glencoe (like the park in Dallas). It's gorgeous and a great place to hike. STay at the Clachaig Inn or at least visit it:

Belhaven's was good. Had a few while I was there. Also, the Sheep's Heid didn't disappoint.
