^ It was a pathetic showing on our part. Tough to argue otherwise

Dallas is now laughing
Ch. 5 actually covered June's great idea!!!
Hey I think I figured it out-June's contract extends through spring right? Then he won't have to play BCS teams in Spring 2015

No scheduling the
BIG DOGS during the fall to be beat up as patsies, and they have to
beat each other up to get 12 games on the schedule
You
ID YUTS can't think, or fantasize outside your sand box.

I don't think we could make any less money playing in the spring. Our current TV deal barely covers our soccer budget.

Does this mean he's also in favor of having a corresponding 'have-not' salary?

Crazy that ASU didn't hire him away from us. They really missed out on a hungry coach that only wants to win.

So June put an idea up that none of like, so what.
He is the first person that has actually suggested to let the Big Five go their own way--we won't play you anymore.
You don't want us in your playoff system, you want to pay your players knowing schools not In your system can financially keep up, fine see how many of you can survive for long if you have to only play schools in your own conference or division--It will only be a few years until the bottom half of these major conferences have to give up football all together. Without patty cake nonconference games against the likes of Lamar or UT Chattanooga how many will be bowl eligible, how many even have winning records?
He put up an idea that ended up kaka on the wall, but I haven't heard anyone from the have not do anything but mutter 'woe is me'. Playing in the spring doesn't make any sense to me, but at least someone is suggesting we don't keep rolling over.
If you believe that the President's of the members of the AAC are going to try to compete financially when they get less than 10% of the revenue a Big Twelve school receives, well I have a bridge I Brooklyn that I would like to sell you...
Also, schools like TCU, Kansas, and even A&M would have pretty poor records if they were limited to play games in their own division or conference-just look at last year's record. What needs to be said, "some of you Big Five schools better really consider where that train you are so pleased to be on is going."

Well MexMustang, if what he meant was lets not play the P5 anymore and see what happens to them, then why didn't he just say it? I wish that was what he said if that IS what he meant, but Instead he just sounds like a cowardice clueless flake. Damn, I wish he hadn't opened his mouth.
