What nit wit government agency pulled the plug on the corny dogs?

Experienced both. Early in the game they gave you the cans. Right before halftime they poured them into cups. I asked the vendor for the can and she told me they were required to pour them out as you can imagine, the pour lines were quite a bit longer and moved slower. Overall, everything seemed to work though.

When the State Fair gets an exemption, and I would think they will, find out how and get the same deal.

Setup a spot outside. Takes care of any fryer and vent problems.

Ok SMU SID as you admit the fresh corny dogs were "very popular" and you were "VERY disappointed". But what did you do about it? You apparently hit a road-block and threw in the towel?
Did you contact Fletchers Corny Dogs? Is there any doubt Fletcher's will be selling fresh corny dogs at the State Fair of Texas again this year? Did you ask Fletchers to either sell their corny dogs at Ford Stadium or ask Fletchers how they manage to sell fresh corny dogs and get around some asinine nanny state gvt regulation on corny dogs?

Yes, let's call out the Sports Information Director and accuse him of not doing his job, when he is doing his best to communicate answers to questions posted on the board and has exactly 0% responsibility for vendor management. Don't be a jerk, make a suggestion, and perhaps someone will look into your idea?

i appreciate the SID answering questions too
but hell when do we retire the "yep just give up...throw in the towel"?
no cell reception, no corny dogs, no water fountains, no football team, and
ridiculous lines at basketball restrooms in a new renovated arena...hello?
others all across the country can getter-done
our football stands in the 3rd quarter for most of the games will show what
"ahhh give 'em some slack gets you"!
i guess it just gets old.....
but ok...SMU SID you did everything possible to keep popular corny dogs at Ford
and life will go on and people will eat delicious corny dogs at other events.
yes jr I will have another summer shandy if I do say so myself
