I sure hope so. They looked pretty beat up to me, but can't imagine why else they would have taken them down last.

That's the last I heard. I do know a joint arrangement with UP to build one on the campus side of 75 has been at least suggested. Not sure if it has any legs.

Probably not saved - didn't look like they were trying to preserve the arches this past Saturday - although there were several of the large bulbous finials that appears to have set aside as if they were being saved/recovered for other future purposes - guessing the demolition company will try to sell what they recovered as part of their contract. They did the same to a bunch of the stonework and bricks on the Health Center, too, which is now mostly gone as well.

No announcements on a new natatorium. The working assumption has been just east of N. Central on SMU Blvd; however, they are keeping it close to the chest. I expect an announcement in November.
