I am also scratching my head as to why he did not comment on our stadium atmosphere when he mentioned everyone elses.

I don't see anything on twitter unless I missed it that he was telling his teammates today. The article said that he would decide tomorrow and I think that is what he will do. I think SMU has as good of a chance as anybody else.

We don't get the nice toys.

(although with all of our bigs gone after this year, besides Ben . . . and Tolbert ... he knows he'll be a featured player here). Probably a key deciding factor.

Still wouldn't bet on us though. And even if he DID orally commit, who's to say it will stick? (just going on experience).

Pony_Law wrote:Potential Freudian slip smu "they will be good this year and the year I get on campus". Fingers crossed. I think the thoughts expressed in the blog make it seem like it is Illinois smu or a&m. I also think that it sounds a bit like he might like being the headliner if the class as opposed to 1 of 4. Being an smu fan I will not allow myself to think we are going to get this kid but it feel like it's closer than I was thinking this morning.

Nice thought but rare is the high school kid precise enough with language that you would need a Freudian slip to produce that statement. Signs point to strong interest though.

We got Shake. Just curious how many of our current top 25 team were 4 stars or higher? Just MK and Keith?

I'm sure he's basing his decision off the message boards
