why are you injecting race into the discussion? BTW, our potential DC, Hobby is black. I imagine Morris will bring a diverse staff.

He got a 3 star to commit this year to Appy State. Last name Noil but I guess not Speedy's brother because he's from Norcross Ga.

App State WRs are upset he's leaving according to the App State message board.

One of their posters said he was a great recruiter.

I'm trying to get excited about the hire if we hire him. If anything, it looks like he'll bring some energy which we haven't really had since the 'stache. Will be fun to watch the recruiting news this offseason (I hope).

Claude Mathis from DeSoto!

Coach Mathis called out SMU last April:

Congrats on getting a great coach! CM will do wonders for your O and will hopefully revive the Pony Express.

Bad news on the OC job though. Jeff Scott has been set up to take CM's place at Death Valley when CM left for a while. CM will be his own OC.

Stepp will be a great recruiter and coach for you guys too. Personally I wish we were hiring him back.

Not sure Hobby will be leaving Clemson either. Just the word around these parts.

Good luck and enjoy your new Pony Express conductor!

Hearing "confirmed" reports he's coming to SMU. We'll see who is right...
