Wow you folks are a bitter lot....

I actually would like the Frogs get a shot at the playoffs. Baylor's whining is starting to annoy.

Agreed, I've been rooting hard for the Frogs to make it into the first ever playoffs and make some noise. It shows how far a program similar to ours is capable of under the right management.

As for Patterson helping us, I'm not sure how exactly he ever did help, but a close relationship between SMU and TCU would only benefit the metroplex and both schools.

I agree I am jealous of tcu but pulling for them to succeed since they are the model we are trying to replicate.

Once we are even remotely in the same ballpark as them, I will clearly change my opinion

Honsetly, I am pulling for TCU. I know we are rivals, but when it comes to post season, I think most of us on here want TCU to do well in the playoffs. The Patterson jokes just come with the territory. He is a very animated individual and is not afraid to say something controversial, especially when it comes to Coach Briles or SMU. I do respect what that man has done for TCU, as well as his loyalty to your school.

I can respect Briles and what he has accomplished (despite my feelings toward Baylor); Fatterson is a classless pile of goo.

I would like to see TCU get the last playoff spot. I think there is a very real possibility that both Big XII teams win out and still get shut out. There is just more money for the powers that be if they take Ohio State over either school.

My prediction: If the committee does the right thing and takes either TCU or Baylor. Then we are going to see real movement towards an eight team playoff for next year.

Anyone else find it funny that Baylor is using the whole head to head argument, yet in 2008 head to head didn't really seem to matter much to them.when it came down to voting between Texas and OU?

While I think you were being sardonic, I'm still wondering, what concrete examples do we have of Patterson helping June or SMU?
