SO I GO TO RIVALS.COM ..... Out of the Clemson commitments out of 20, only two of the players were recruited by Morris......and one of those players is from South Carolina and the other is from Florida. Wait, I just bought all of Chad's slick talk, and it turns out he was responsible for few commitments to Clemson and ZERO ZERO ZERO from Texas at that. What am I missing?

You are missing a brain. Evidently you know more than every other sportswriter and AD in the country cause you are the only one who is worried about this hire.

You just don't understand College Football or recruiting-stick with NFL Draft. You sound like Rick Gosselin. I've explained this many times why a Coordinator might not be credited with many commitments. Further, a Head Coach sets the recruiting tone and in case you aren't paying attention-Morris is knocking it out of the ole ball park. Every one of Clemson's Offensive recruits which is ranked No. 3 in the Country are responding to the excitement of the Morris' offense. Kids love it

Bueller?... Bueller?
Temple High has some athletes that are getting a lot of looks. Home of Tevin Reese, Lache Seastrunk, Kenneth Davis, and Albert Reese.
Davion Curtis (WR) will go somewhere and has been contacted by Baylor.
Also have two running backs that are getting looks.
As of today Chad President signed with Baylor.

I think these guys are super, super hungry and are definitely literally like kids in a candy store. Going to take this kind of work, consistently, to compete for AAC titles in 2-3 years. Then, we take it next level.

Here's what you're missing from Clemson's recruiting strategy.
CM recruited the QB that he wanted...Deshaun Watson, Chad Kelley, and our 2 2015 guys.(one a FL HS record setting passer and the other who is more like Deshaun Watson). He hand picks them and the recruiting coordinator and area recruiters go after them. TX has not been a pipe line for us at all. We mine GA, Fl, NC, and SC. Probably in that order.
Because we are a smaller state it takes us a driver and 3 wood to reach the green instead of just a D and 5 iron.
I wouldn't be surprised to see one of your HS coach hires or J Stepp be the recruiting coordinator, our Jeff Scott, who will run the recruiting effort while Chad sets the vision (like his wanting to run a 4-2-5 on def).
The recruiting co will then sic Stepp, Craddock, Fry, and others on them to attract them. Morris will close the deal. Dabo did that for us, Chad just never had to. He just pointed to the numbers....

Thanks for the insight. Don't waste too many key strokes on Utah's posts. But keep the info coming, we appreciate it.
