same boat here - but I also work with tones of Clemson fans (my paralegal has season tix) so not only have I been online every minute of my day checking SMU stuff, but everyone wants to talk to me about it too.

How about the LB hire and the Mudiay announcement - both those were time sinks.

Funny - Stallion is acting like Hoopmanx when LB got hired. Its pretty hard to satisfy those two and somehow SMU managed to do it. Times really have changed.

Yeah you're right, but those were different events since it was a single thing. With the Big East announcement we were discussing time table, tv revenue, conference mates, potential Big East defectors, etc. It's like the last few days, we are getting all sorts of news from all over the place: Chad Morris rumors, announcement, staff hirings, staff firings, recruits, media frenzy, Whataburger, etc.

You guys are pathetic....ok fine, me too.

Walking in to the office I actually tried to pump myself up about working and not tracking the staff's every move. "Chad Morris would want me to work hard today, Tempo at the desk!"

Tracking the responses from our fans, sportswriters, HS coaches, and HS player, as well as our coaches is a full time job. As much as HCCM said he is a kid in a candy store, for the long suffering SMU football fan, we are to. Now lets get that Natatorium built.

Doesn't he need to be at UConn if he fired all the old group? Someone should chaperone the players.

Yeah - it is totally weird - harmony on ponyfans. We can now put him into the "sunshiner" club.

Comet - you are right. And as great and important the LB hire was, football is still king. It sure is fun to now have all three boards to pay attention to - (Not excluding Other Sports and Around the Hilltop - but you get my drift) - and in a positive way.

This hire may drop the sarcasm meter to almost zero.

You must not remember that hoopmanx said we would never hear from him again if we hired brown. Now, he came around quickly once he saw the staff but in this case stallion has been calling for Morris for a year or more.

I do remember that - and you are right. I am speaking post hire. He could not stop talking about the staff. When Stallion posted about the staff before HCCM had actually hired anyone, it reminded me of all the HoopmanX posts about the LB's staff - then came the posts on the players. Deja vu in football.

If you feel really guilty, send a guilt offering check to:

I have it in with someone and you can get your guilt taken care of.
Thanks in advance.
