Wouldn't be surprised if the team has all new uni's next year as well. Morris seems intent on shaking this thing up from top to bottom. One of the quickest, most visible ways to show that things have changed is via the uniforms. Would also make an impression with the better recruits.

How about bustin' out some of the old Ron Meyer sideline apparel? Was that revolutionary or what? Definitely had the Vegas slant to those polyester knits. Anybody got a picture?

Best thing?
- Enthusiasm
- Tempo (no QB trots to the bench)
- Recruiting
- Texas roots
- Embracing everything SMU (and did so from his youth)
- Anti-June Jones (see all the above)
- New Hope

Getting the blues from The Chad will be easy - since it seems his frame of reference is from the pony express days. I wonder if he's talked to ED yet.

I got a season ticket renewal email before I even knew CM had been made HC. I went to the SMUMustangs.com web site and could not even find an article or video of the announcement. Seem like someone pushed that button a bit soon particularly when most of the emails were probably sent to existing season ticket holders.

remember that Morris attended SMU games when we romped all over people in those classic blue jerseys. Bring back Mustang Mania!
