Now he's just sending me emails ranting without me even responding.... Hahaha
"Okay… taking some time to digest this. Here is my thought:
I’m thinking maybe he is a "value" hire so they can spend a lot to get some high caliber assistants. By all accounts he runs a clean program, is a nice guy, and has the experience managing people…
God I hope this is the plan… Otherwise I’m in for a bumpy ride."

I get Bo Pelini wasn't the nicest fellow, but he won at least 9 games every season. Why dump a HC unless you see a coach that will almost guarantee you make that final jump to a championship team. Most coaching changes are a wash in the ends a downstep in the first season or two, and Nebraska had well above average wins every year (which generates a good amount of revenue). Nebraska seems like a school that thinks it is more than it is. Oregon State has not done squat.
Scary hire for Nebraska considering Riley's age and mediocre record. Nebraska fans will want championships from day one and will have no patience for anything less.

ME! I hated seeing him with his mouthful of gum on the sidelines!
Nebraska under Pellini finished 1st in the division 4 times (including ties). OSU has not finished better than 3rd since they went to divisions in the PAC12. This is just so strange.
