If Oregon State hires that clown, the Pac 12 will kick Oregon State out of the conference on grounds of institutional insanity.

Maybe June realizes he is not as big a deal as he thinks he is and is actually willing to recommit and make effort again as a college coach. If that's the case he has a chance to be successful. Of course every observation I have had of the guy is he will not take any personal responsibility for his personal or system short comings and thus he is unlikely to achieve a high level of success ever again.
Against non WAC competition you need talent to compete. That requires effort on the recruiting trail. Every team now has multiple games against a spread offenses and have designed their defense to counter it. That means you need to be constantly innovative to make it work. I doubt June will do either.
If June goes to Oregon he will spend plenty of time with his friends from Hawaii and his home and he will have a few slightly above average years (as OSU is slightly above average) before he runs out of the stockpiled talent and OSU becomes a pac-12 bottom dweller.

That said, I cant imagine a school with Pac 12 money having to take on June.
I can't imagine a B10 school having to hire Mike Riley.

Needs someone like Mumme to modernize his offense if he ever wants to be successful again IMO
also needs a staff that will actually recruit

Slightly? You mean letting the kids come to you is slightly lazy? I would hate to hear fully lazy.
Also, I only see him going to Oregon State if they move all of their games to the spring and forfeit all P12 games. That way he can win without trying.

NEVER HAPPEN! You think there was a backlash from the Arizona State people when June tried to sneak in there.... just wait till the Oregon State people catch wind of him. With all of the truth that has been laid bare about him over the last few months, I find it really hard to believe he'll land another decent job.

I seriously doubt that applies anywhere. I wouldn't even say Hawaii is looking for lazy coaches.

It would be a lot of fun to watch the Pac-12 trample all over June but Dennis Erickson has a better shot at that job than June does.

would be shocked to see JJ working at the FBS level again; let the buyer beware!

I should have a better shot at getting the job than June does.
- I have never built a team that went winless;
- I have never quit on my team leaving Tom Mason to deal with my mess;
- I have never trashed my employer to the newspapers.

June Jones told the Review-Journal on Tuesday that he also was interested in UNLV, but whether he made contact with Kunzer-Murphy was uncertain. Attempts to reach Jones on Wednesday were unsuccessful.
Jones went 76-41 from 1999 to 2007 at Hawaii, taking the Warriors to the Sugar Bowl in his final season. From there, he went to Southern Methodist, going 36-43 in nine seasons.
But he took SMU to four consecutive bowls, ending a 25-year postseason drought. Jones resigned two games into this season, citing personal reasons.http://www.reviewjournal.com/sports/unl ... otball-job
Was he really here for nine seasons or did it just seem like nine?
