This guy would be a huge get, but it depends on what HCCM promised our current commit Hicks. Don't wont to start burning bridges with high schools before the first class is signed. Personally, I would rather SMU focus on building relationships for the 2016 class and show we stick to our commits, but if this guy goes to Tulsa with Montgomery running the show, we could be paying for it later.

Tech. Tech and Baylor just traded QB's.

I doubt Morris is 'promising' any of these commits anything, seems smarter than that. He simply has to show them the roster and explain that they will have an opportunity for early playing time. Or, they can go to bigger schools with many more 4 stars and take their chance competing in that situation.
Tech already has 2 established guys he'd have to leapfrog. TCU has a heisman candidate and other 4 star QB's as backups. Texas has at least 3 - 4 star QB's already. Baylor out. A&M has 2 - 5 star QB's. If he wants the best opportunity to play right away it'd seem like Tulsa or SMU.

I'll never get over those thinking you can't offer another good recruit because one already signed. I want good recruits on the 4th string

Since Montgomery was probably recruiting him at Baylor I would think Tulsa is where he lands imo.

Unless Montgomery was part of what Chad didn't like about the Stidham recruitment?
Was Montgomery already announced to Tulsa when Stidham decommited and Baylor started their full court press?

I'm pretty sure Montgomery already took the Tulsa job before Stidham decommitted from Tech

I can't imagine he would want to go to Tulsa.

If we have a recruit that is afraid of competition at his position, then we have the wrong recruit.

Montgomery was the point man for President's recruitment. I would be surprised if he ends up anywhere else honestly.
