Let's see how things work out and then we can either laud him as an oracle of prescient truth, or stuff his words back down his throat with a healthy dose of goat/crow flavor enhancement.

As you can clearly see we have a team of coaches comparable to Tulane.

We are hoping for a wing and a prayer!

If we don't win one game next year will you all please commit to a real coach?

From the inside scoop and our schedule, the word is we could loose every game next year!

You need to quit using the collective pronoun "we". You are not a "we". In addition to the asinine posts, one of the first signs that you are an imposter: "at the hilltop". If you're bonafide SMU, it is "on the Hilltop". Thanking you in advance and Pony Up!

How about just ignoring him?

He's obviously upset and lashing out because his precious Saban was out-coached, and his Bama D exposed

This thread should be good for a few laughs. Maybe this guy will be the new Shadowman.

It's the dead period in recruiting, no?

Yes its the dead period. Even with that there have been several reports of recruits that are coming in for visits or that have started to consider us now with the new staff.

1. It's a dead period.
2. The coach we assume was the inspiration for the OP's screen name spells his name "SABAN."

Therefore, I assume he really is a fan of Albert Bruce Sabin (August 26, 1906 Białystok, Russian Empire (today Poland)– March 3, 1993): American medical researcher best known for having developed an oral polio vaccine.

Or perhaps he believes someone should hire only residents of Sabin, Minn.?

Or he likes the standout coverage of some Dallas Morning News spare part named Rainier Sabin (thank you, Google).

Wait -- he's a disciple of Yale University professor Paul Sabin, who "draws on an iconic story to examine the clash between environmentalists and their conservative critics—from the late 1960s to the present—and trace the origins of the political gulf that separates the two sides."

And surely voted for Arkansas State Rep Warwick Sabin!

OK, I'm done.

Besides being a simple-minded flamethrower, it appears he only wants to pull the pin on a grenade and walk away. Ignoring him will drive him nuts.

As usual no content. Please list 5 good things that you would bet your life on that CM has done?

PS Saban's high shool football number was 78.

Actually, you don't really even have to look for semantic problems like "at the hilltop" vs "on the hilltop"... when someone writes like they've been repeatedly hit in the head with a tire iron, it's kind of a dead giveaway that said individual has never even been a student at SMU. Heck, I'm not sure SMU would hire a janitor that writes that poorly.

That list is probably about as long as sabans accomplishments would be 4 weeks into the job at a time that outbound recruiting is not allowed. Do you even know how recruiting works?

....June?

I'd be willing to bet that some of our janitors can write better than our students...
