Re: What happen to the student support
I actually felt like the students were better tonight than they have been all year, not that that's saying much.
But above the rail, good God...it's a basketball game, not an opera, act like it

Tonight was one of the best efforts from the students all season. The group in the corner behind the Houston bench pushed the student sections.
If you're expecting last year, then you will never be satisfied. Make your peace with yourself and you'll enjoy the games much more.

That was us. Group of all fraternity members and a few girlfriends. I'm biased but I honestly think the percentage of greek life guys last year to this year is what the problem is. It is just so easy for us to all chant together and be loud because we all know each other, compared to groups of random kids.

This^... Chris I saw you guys making noise down there which was awesome and it made the place much louder. A lot of guys that were in the mob and sat in 112 last year graduated. It sucked seeing a group of girls standing in 112 with their arms crossed during seven nation army. If you are going to take up space in 112 youd better be rowdy

Worst part of today was 7 nation army. I was so disappointed, I think it was after a big dunk and a coog time out. More then half of 112 was just standing there and not jumping.
Trying our best. It's not that our guys our super crazy or anything. There are other groups that are better fans honestly it's just so much easier for greek organizations to be organized with that kind of stuff and it sucks how scattered everyone is this year. It's just small pockets.

That was baffling to me.
Hopefully we can get things turned around before the end of the season.
Thanks to all of the students who are trying!!!!!

Your group did very well. Thanks for bringing them out to the game.
What I don't understand is how the Greeks, knowing the rules of how to get Mob points this year, didn't utilize the system to be more present than they are this year.
Edit: take that as a question, not a criticism

Agreed. Where are you sitting? My season tickets are in section 207. I rarely sit there though, usually make my way to the student section. If you want to sneak in and re-live the glory days hit me up haha.

Gotcha. Hopefully, the Greeks or the system will adjust next year as our student section definitely needs the organization
