Shanderrick had a back problem. Not exactly sure what it was, but the back ended his career. Sad, cause that guy would have changed a lot of Ls to Ws for us if he had stayed healthy.

I'm sorry about Burcham, as I am about anyone player who gets hurt participating ion a sport I so enjoy watching. I can only second what myrdell said. And I remember Shanderrick.
Way, way back there I remember a QB who got hurt and tried but never was able to rehab a knee. It was before knee surgery was so advanced as today and he was at a school, Baylor, that some on this board won't mention. But he was a celebrated highschool QB, from Temple, maybe and I've forgotten his name.
I read about him for two - three years running before he hung it up.
Anyone recall who that might have been?
