This game is actually getting bigger in important. Tulsa's win makes this conference a two horse race. And nothing for us is guaranteed going down the stretch. We could lose 3 in a row and be limping into the conference tourney. Also, we are in a weak conference. Finish weak and the tourney selectors have the excuse they need. We learned that last year.

We need the win to keep pressure on Tulsa, convince the section committee we belong and improve our seeding if selected.

Of Uconn and Memphis on the road, we have to win at least one of them (to make me feel ok), and I think this is a better shot.

Memphis and their fans really don't like getting beat up by SMU after being king of C-USA for years. I think this will be a close game, and I just hope all this time off down the stretch helps us rest a prepare instead of being rusty/

Let's keep Nichols in check. He's pretty good. Cannen and Markus can hopefully keep him off the boards.

Kedren Johnson, the Vandy transfer who sat out a year, is playing much better -- not the player we saw in Dallas earlier this year. Memphis overall guard play also has improved.

I agree that the Yanick/CC combo vs. Nichols will be key.

As a counterpoint, our RPI is MUCH healthier this season than it was last season.

But let's win out and leave no doubt

To be at the next level we need to be able to put teams like Memphis and UCONN away at their house.
We win out and it's huge for our confidence going into the post season.

With the days all screwed up this week because of the weather, I bet some people wake up tomorrow thinking it is game day.

Thursday can't get here soon enough. I hate these long breaks between games.

I'm with you. This week layoff thing sucks for me as a fan... can only imagine how it must feel as a player. I woke up this morning disappointed it STILL isn't game day.
