TCU's #1 Rival has to be the DEA.

If the vision for this program is P5 then we shouldn't be playing schools like UNT that offer no advantages to that goal.

At some point in the next few years we will hopefully look at this game as an additional Home game in Denton every other year where we can move the Boulevard North. I went this past year and cannot blame anyone else for staying away for the Fire June game. But the scene on gameday is a lot better up there than in years past. Stadium was a lot nicer. Could be a fun additional home game for us every other year where we can have a strong SMU crowd.

SMU-NT-TCU is good for us, them and the metroplex. It gets a lot of local and regional media attention and is generally a good crowd with interest from recruits too. Beats playing Temple in front of a sparse crowd at Ford but of course that is a conf game. The state of Texas is big and good enough to have their own super conference, tv deal to rival the SEC....one of these days.

Still don't consider UNT a rival, but agree that their new stadium is nice and will be a good road game to travel to in the future.
Had zero desire to go this past season, lol.

While I haven't been to the new stadium, I was disappointed about what I saw on TV. It reminded me of Plano's John Clark Stadium with a bigger press box and endzone seating.

Utah a TCU rival? Funny because we don't recruit against them, don't ever play them and barely ever think about them. Boise or BYU are bigger rivals for TCU and we don't play them either.

What did you expect from the people who wrote north texas state is our rival and not Cougar High or Tulsa which are much more rivals to us than NTSU was, is or will ever be?

Utah was a poor choice. I think most TCU fans hate BYU & Boise more.

But TCU's list of rivals ends at three. Baylor, Texas Tech, and SMU.

i get UNT for a bit but a ten year contract was just silly. THe only school that should be on our schedule for that long is TCU.

We need to play non texas lower level p-5 teams. Wake, Georgetown, Colorado, Vandy, Northwestern - also we draw from California and Florida, D.C. now - lets get out in those markets. Schedule Miami - UVA, Maryland etc…

Time to start thinking nationally. That is our only shot. Tired of licking the Big 12 boots.
