I've heard it is really good but how many burger joints does Dallas need? We need a few more salad joints and healthy joints, like California Chicken Cafe. I'd drive to McKinney for that.

That takes all the fun out of it!

Seriously though, you are right. The lack of good, healthy, quick lunch options around most of town is frustrating.

It really is. I never realized it until living in SoCal. Healthy options on every corner out there, fast food and Tex-Mex on every corner here. I do like that Zoes is expanding in Dallas though. I really like Dive Coastal, too.

Shake Shack brings to DFW frozen custard. Quite good frozen custard. Have been enjoying it in D.C. for some time. Does DFW really need another good burger place? Probably not. But does Dallas need another good lunch place that has frozen custard and craft beer on draft? Surely can't hurt.

I'm there almost daily. I did the 'green wrap' thing once....once. Stick to salads.

Checked out their website, looks good. Has anyone ever eaten at one of the Lemonade locations in LA? A place like that would be nice here. They get creative with healthy to-go food.

There is also Manny's Uptown Tex-Mex which is owned by an SMU alum as well. Imo, best brisket tacos in town. Their margaritas are as strong as you will get anywhere.
