Love it. As good as the last class ended up being and as good as this class is looking, I can't wait for to see the class next year. I know, one step at a time, but dang.

My biggest concern has nothing to do with CM or his recruiting/coaching ability.

It has everything to do with what type of fan support he'll get this year.

Simply relying on something new & shiny isn't enough. During our brutal conference schedule (Tulsa, Temple, Tulane) we'll be lucky to average 15k. Will there even be 10k in the stands during the 4th quarter? Hoping there is some campaign in place to get these crowds closer to 25k. It would certainly help recruiting and our ability to look 'big time' to those who might consider us as future partners.

Morris has been doing meet and greets with the fraternities/ sororities. If anything there will be more students at the games.

Hopefully. He needs to continue those big time in the fall. Maybe go to the freshmen dorms as well.

This would be a huge get. I can't remember the last high 3-star DB we landed...

We need to be competitive (within 3-4 TDs) of Baylor. Would be so huge and set the tone for the rest of the season.

And you wonder why Mrydel has bypassed you year after year for the WDNWHA committee.

Maybe he wants to be a big fish in a small pond?

I don't get it.

We on the WDNWHA Committee knew this was coming. I will never give up the reasons for our decisions on a particular athlete, but just know that a CB without inner confidence cannot be relied upon. We wish him luck.

RGv - no sorry but Texas state is a bigger pond in no way at all. This was borderline idiotic move.

He may have been referring to the 30,000+ undergrads (not Dallas vs. ...).
