I've never understood why anyone cares if their posts get deleted. Its not like anyone goes back to read them, and i am pretty sure you don't get a prize if you hit some number of posts. i mean who cares??

That said - the library is amazing. My only complaint is that we don't get sourced enough as the location - they always use Dallas vs SMU. I don't understand how people couldn't put their politics aside and see how good it is for the city and for SMU. If Obama wanted us to host his i would say yes - and i disagree with him about basically everything.

I don't get why people love Bush library. It's a good talking point and looks cool but I thought the admission was a waste of $20...and I'm even a Bush fan.

You are the first person I have heard from that thought touring the library was a waste....most people I know say it is the best presidential library they have been to and the interactive style is very engaging.

So glad this is part of our campus and love grabbing a power lunch at Cafe 43 when I am in Dallas.

I thought it was really cool when I went. The 9/11 part is really well done and gripping; brings back a lot of difficult memories but I thought they did a remarkable job with it. There's some neat interactive stuff, too, and it brings a lot of influential people to our campus (like Bill Clinton). It's a massive net positive for the university.

There are, what, 9 of these in the world and we have one? What's the complaint, not enough 3D theaters and roller coasters?

I went with 4 people, who all absolutely loathe Bush, when I was there for a wedding last year and all of them loved it. You're also the first person I've heard say it was a waste.

The 911 stuff is unbelievably well done and if it doesn't stir emotions somewhere inside you, you're not American or don't have a soul.
