Money buys the speed at Baylor.

It's not a money issue its a title ix issue.
It's a money issue. We had a track team but had to drop it due to monetary issue from my understanding.

Yes, there's some in HCCM's first class (more than JJ ever recruited) and much more in his second class. It's coming, but it's an obvious need and I trust HCCM to go get it.
Agreed.

I agree. We want to be faster than just good enough to complete in conference. We want to be able to win every game in or out of conference. That day is not far away the way Coach Morris is recruiting.

Morris is recruiting speed. However, a track team would help bring more speed.

We simply did not have the athleticism to handle TCU's receivers. It had nothing to do with coaching. If Boykin throws a decent pass TCU's receivers are going to make big plays. We have one average DB but then again we don't have to play Baylor or TCU again

Correction: we had a very good track team.

I agree with that assessment. Losing Listebee hurt them because it seemed like he was running past our DB's on more than one occasion.

WE need more size, speed and athleticism in the secondary. Our D backs in general were no match for TCU's receivers. WE go man and they beat us one on one then have big after catch yards. We go zone and they pick us apart. We need to recruit secondary positions as much as possible. Our secondary, not TCU's QB was the difference in the game.

Our recruiting just got lifted a notch thanks to the coaches and kids last night.
Thank you!
His recruiting is going well watching the highlights in the paper.

yeah I really like the Mikial Onu kid. Surprisingly, I really haven't seen much video on Eric Sutton or Michael Clark. Not much on Christian Davis either. I believe some schools really don't want much video put on the internet about their program. I notice schools like Allen, Lake Travis and Cedar Hill never seem to have much video on their QBs and passing game. Sutton should be an upgrade in speed. Any DB signing with SMU will have a shot at early playing time
