Don't know why but I really expect Temple to lose by at least 21.

Temple had by far the majority of the fans at home against PSU. They've shown pics of the stadium during that game and there was clearly more red than blue.

This is the signature match-up for the American this year. Memphis beating Ole Miss was great, and Houston, Cincy, and ECU have had some great wins, but nothing like this would be. The school with almost no football history beating the mother-load of tradition on national television - great. That, and assuming Memphis and Houston win the American would have to start to be looked at for the college football playoff IMO.

Good luck JHG. I like Notre Dame and rarely root against them, but I'll be rooting hard for ya'll tonight.

Looking at the stands looks like a Temple filled most of it up. Stadium also looking full for the most part.

I never root against Notre Dame but I am tonight. It would be huge for our conference.

Temple making their school proud. They take the lead here (17-17) and they may take the game...

You are watching a Temple team doing great against #9 ND who were emboldened by a win against their big in-state rival PSU. They hadn't neaten PSU since, well...it was a long freaking time. They didn't drop the rivalry and kept it going, and that big win propelled a very good team to this season and this place. Remember that when you want us to drop old SWC rivals because they are "too good" for us.

Aac is awesome this year. Several of the teams we got upset about getting conference invites are now utterly destroying us

good showing by Temple despite the heartbreaking loss. They are probably going to destroy us this week in front of another national TV audience. Just hope we can compete

Keep the faith until shown otherwise. This could be the signature win we need to jump start the program. Then again............

all these games against ranked opponents on national TV are great opportunities for SMU to pull off one of the biggest upsets of the year...we can at least keep hoping we will have our day
