I think there are two reason for 2 different groups: a) the new and talented are trying to take advantage of playing time and want to show effort b) the not talented are worried about maintaining their scholarship and wanting to play with max effort to hold their spot, which fortunately makes this season look 10x better than last season despite a similar record.
