I know he is in 2A but the guy can play. Has a good arm too. Wonder if he will be recruited as a QB.

No the 4 star-the 5 star kid Ed Oliver (4 star on Rivals) has a brother on UH team-he may stick. Plus I think his high school coach is now at UH

OU - 13 commitments, Texas 12, A&M 18.

14 5 stars left. 94 4 stars.

This year rivals has 379 5 and 4 star players. Really high percentage not committed this late in the recruiting process. In 2015 and 2014 they had about the same number of 5 and 4 star players, and only one or two each year decided to remain uncommitted. This year there are 108.

So, will decommittment season be mostly downgrades where OU steals a player from Houston? Or will it be upgrades, where all of the spots are full at major schools and a 4 star player steals a scholarship from a 3 star at a smaller school?

I was thinking the former before, but looking at all of the non-commitments from high level players, I kind of think the latter might happen. If we can hold some spots open for players waiting for a OU or UT offer that might not ever come, we might be able to really add some spice to the class.

most of those 4-5 star guys are probably waiting for a series of high school All-American games to announce their commitments on National TV

I wonder if we are going to do like Tennessee did last year and play mostly all of the young players because they are the future. It sure payed off this year.
