He was fired because he told the truth to some of our largest donors... at a North Carolina golf outing... that coaching prospects simply don't trust our President. Now that his payments (hush money) are concluded, I would imagine more stories will surface.

No, he didn't do a very good job.* His coaching searches were national embarrassments, the non-revenue sports atrophied badly under his watch, poor game-day experience across the board, and he didn't know how to work well with others. He had to be ordered to call Brown back. He negotiated against himself. He didn't hire June until January, and apparently didn't do any due diligence as to how June was going to run the program here because many of June's failings can be traced back to actions/inactions that occurred right at the time he was hired or shortly thereafter.

He was great at saying "Top 25" in the papers. What's that? I think he just offered another coach the hoops job.

*Suck is an overly harsh term to judge someone's professional record. He didn't do a good enough job in his time here, his termination was justified, and certain people have an inflated opinion because of narrative rather than tangible results.

Need a couple extra for the luge - been a tough year

He got fired because he bad-mouthed RGT at an event. He helped build UCF athletics and he tried to helped us in my opinion. He at least played college football. I hate to say it, but that's more than you can say about our current AD and Head Football Coach.

It looks like Lake Highlands will get one before SMU. The Richardson ISD has 4 new IPF's on the bond package at 20 mil each.

Didn't realize that TCU had theirs back in 2007. Well before they were getting huge dollars from their conference affiliation. At least we have some nice new fountains and gazebos on campus!

Jerry Jones played football and he obviously knows all about coaching and managing a team. Guess that's why Franchione failed so hard.

Phil Bennett played football too although he did forget more than all of us will ever know.
