Kapita and either Bruno, Froling or some other big that we might be after. Now that would be a nice class.

@AdamZagoria: SMU is heavily involved for former Arkansas signee @ted_kapita , his coach tells @SNYtv
@AdamZagoria: Ted Kapita told me he never signed with the AmeriLeague and he hopes to become eligible for college ball. Said he's open & SMU working hard.
@AdamZagoria: Montverde Prep coach Frank Holloway says SMU working hardest for 6-11 2016 Bruno Fernando who will sign late

You take both and take the hit the next year. We've got quality at every position so we can withstand 10 scholarships each year

Definitely. We are set at 1-2-3 for awhile if all who are signed actually play. Grabbing two of these three to add to Semi (2 years left after this season) and Ben Moore ( senior leader next year) certainly puts us in far better shape than we are today.
Are any of those three considered " one and done?"
I'm guessing Froling might be a four year Mustang. How about the other two?

After the disappointment with the kid from Charlotte, NC, I refuse to get excited about anyone until I see them on the floor in an SMU uni.

Is it 9 scholarships over 3 years we lost? How many are typically in a class? I know we can move things around by year but what does the punishment translate to - we can sign 2 per class on average over 3 years?

7 over 3 years (9 but credited 2 back).
2-4 (usually about what we lose to graduation/attrition, only limit is you can't go over 13 scholarships on the team)

THis would really help our team next year. almost a necessity.
wondering if keith can hang another year or not. Wouldn't surprise me if we get that scholy back. Rooting for him but can't imagine he can tough it out past this year.
