I don't think Zona can make up that much ground so quickly, w/o ever visiting him or the family. Illinois has been their since day 1, but Groce isn't exactly setting the world on fire w/basically nothing in the pipeline. Wisconsin plays like Froling plays, so that's a stylistic match. We're the odds on favorite, just can't flub the visit. I'd love it if we could close and he didn't take all 4

Given that he is travelling from Australia I'm sure he does not cancel a single visit. Wish he came when students were on campus. Feels like our chances are directly related to the dynamics between him and his sister. Hopefully they are close.

His sisters already go to school here on the Womens basketball team, and his fellow countryman Tom Wilson just committed. SMU has already visited him in Australia at least once or twice that I can think of. I'd believe we are the favorites too. What I wasn't so sure of was his ability, but with Arizona and Wisconsin going after him hard, have to think he'd be one of the best commits of the Larry Brown era.

I know but I dont like having the first visit or the fact the game he is visiting may have a decreased MOB attendance

Hoop... what are your opinions on Tom Wilson? Was Froling a major reason we prioritized Tom or it jsut happened to be a side benefit?

Somewhere else, I think in another thread Hoopmanx mentioned that it was kinda a no brainer for tom Wilson to choose here because we were by far his best offer. But he indicated that was as much because of exposure (due to Australia) as it was to talent. He seemed to indicate that he has some skill and is not merely an throw in for Froling.

We don't really have room for throw ins, so I'm trusting our Aussie presence on that one.
