Which is why people who think we should have taken the post-season ban next year are frighteningly wrong.

Regarding the Bruno comment it seems we better go 2/2 with Kapita and Froling. That is tough

Bruno prefers staying as 2016 but we'll see, may depend on his coursework. Also reports Duke showing some interest now...

Nic Moore is the biggest winner on this team. We will miss him more than we can imagine.
The team definitely will not be the same without him.
Not many players get their jersey retired, but I would say his should be when eligible. Conference POY, consistently lead scorer and just all-around good kid from at least a perception standpoint. Clearly the captain that righted our ship from an on-the-court standpoint.

Can't we still land a commitment from him even if he needs Prep ala Lagerald Vick style?
Still sounding doubtful but we will see. I still think Froling will be a tough pull

Get on twitter and let Jon know he "worked hard" and did a great interview. While it is fun and cathartic to troll idiots like Vitale when he says something stupid, we engender more respect and may even get a little better press when you represent SMU well by thanking guys who do a good job. Plus, in this age of page hit counts and mentions, every positive comment on a story about SMU helps push more momentum towards further reporting on the program.

@JonRothstein I've seen Duke, Kentucky, MSU, Kansas, UNC, and SMU in person this year. When clicking, Ponies as good as any of them.
If you didn't buy stock in SMU's Shake Milton early you missed out. Kid is one of the best freshmen in the country. Had 24 today at Tulsa.

Nic Moore has been incredible and deserves all your love and adulation. put his name in the rafters, retire his jersey, but eon't kid yourself. if we're to be a great program, the next needs to be as good as the last. As of now, Shake Milton has a higher ceiling than Nic. Like Nic, he's a star. I'll always love Nic for being the marquee kid that built this program, but I expect we"ll have better PGs in the future. Heck, we may already have one on the roster

I love Nic. However I get giddy thinking of Shake in the same role. Esp jr and sr year. Just need some post players and we will be just as stacked.
Is LBs usage of Jarrey, or lack there of, coincidence?

Nic can take over a game on a consistent basis. Shake needs another Nic like player beside him next year imo. No one knows if that will happen yet but it would be nice if it did.

He said in the post game interview he has to do a better job of getting Jarrey on the court.

Will Shake (So) be Nic (Sr)? No. But he will suffice and only get better at it. At least we have someone who cant undertake that role as we saw vs CU

Shake is a potential NBA PG, he's gonna take over his share of games, when he has the ball in his hands 30 minutes a night. He's also going to be a far better defender than Nic if just based on length
