Followill doesn't do radio. He's the Mavs tv play-by-play guy.

The girl announcer mentioned some there & said that SMU was the place to be in Dallas.
I would have loved to see more of the girl announcer. Who was that - and where did she play? (she mentioned her playing days).
Brooke Weisbrod... Coastal Carolina. Her website has pics w/ nic Moore and some other nice pictures. http://www.brookeweisbrod.com

OK, I don't know who the guy was, but he wasn't radio or tv. OK?

Coop and his son have been regulars at SMU games for years, even pre-LB.

Okay. Sorry, I thought in your original post you said he announced Mavs games.

Chris Young was sitting in the red seats. Chris pitched for the Royals in the World Series this year and is also a former Ranger.

He played basketball and baseball for Princeton and was conference player of the year in both sports twice before signing with the Pirates minor league system as a junior.

He just moved back to Dallas this summer with his family. Hope he become a regular at Moody as he's a huge college basketball fan.

Mavs rook Justin Anderson was also there near Romo. Also spotted Jamal Mashburn a few down from RGT

I didn't see Mash. I loved the 3 Js back in the day (damn you Toni Braxton). I wonder if he still lives in Dallas?

Oh man, I wish I had seen him. As a native Kansas Citian, I would have loved to say hello.

I am pretty sure this is just a misunderstanding. I think the OP was talking about the guy who speaks to the crowd over the speakers inside the arena, such as when lineups are announced or as players score during the game (in this case, AAC).

Followill and his type are more commentators than they are announcers.
