Was thinking the same thing. Aresco can't want us to win. It makes sense, so I don't blame him really, but [deleted] that.
We won't get any favors the rest of the way

You must not have seen the Kent State game.
Last night was reliving Kent State

Yes I was, in person. And, I will never forget them either. In Vegas, I felt like they were on a power trip, while last night I felt like they were doing everything in their power to give the game to Houston. Both, groups were horrible.

I got the same feeling last night. I do not expect us to get a lot of calls from here on out.

4 more. But that won't stop some folks around here. Every game will have bad calls, some worse than others. Folks need to learn to deal with it. Some go against us, some go in our favor.

That point is not lost on anyone. Regardless, the calls made in this game were questionable at best.
BTW, no one is talking about frequent trips to review video by the refs in the first half. Another sign of a weak crew.
Pay Lashlee more money
Re: Officiating
So nic had 3 phantom calls go against him when it was obvious the ref's caved to the pressure from Sampson about the foul disparity in the 2nd half. In my mind that is terrible officiating. Our team makes a very conscious effort not to foul (out of necessity of having the short bench) so the overall foul calls is not a good assessment of how the game was officiated IMO.
I think the ref was going to the scorers table often because there were clock issues (which are on us as a facility).

I think they were clock issues. That can be technical or timekeeper. Does nobody remember the goal tending against UCLA? That was a bad call. Nothing last night is in the same ballpark, zip code, country, you name it.

The first half reviews were due to the guy handling the clock being a moron
