Don't know what the final percentage is but that is a good class considering the season record.

Only a handful or less of signed players without FBS offers or even P5 offers for that matter.

Best offer list per player since the DP I would think.

Man talk about a bummer with the recruiting class having 700 basis point drop. I'm curious to see what the update rankbyoffers has us in class rankings. I know I need to keep into perspective that we had 3 wins 2 years but it still gives me a nervous chill that we might not be going bowling in 2017. Hopefully I'm wrong and this is a major win in recruiting.

I think just about everyone in the class had at least one other offer than SMU.

Rankings, like most stats, can be misleading. For instance, someone mentioned that Houston has a very top heavy class and that the stanggang16 2 stars seem to be much more sought after than the htowntakeover16 2 stars. A lot of our recruits had offers from very solid p5 programs. So many of these guys are p5 caliber players and not just the level your mid to lower level schools recruit at in those conferences. Last year was a pretty big step towards turning this roster over and this year was a gigantic step in that direction!
See the offer list for yourself

This will be a very different looking team this year and will in some ways be unrecognizable in 2017. Just look, offense ppg went from 11 in 2014 to 27 in 2015 with just half a class, some scheme changes, and better use of the tools on the incumbent roster. Big things are happening

And cover yout ears gloom and doomers but it seems on the surface that the defense could possibly fare better than last season..if only for the fact that the offense should be better and able to hold onto the ball longer. But I think having a much more athletic defensive 2 deep will pay more dividends in results than having experience. You can teach a guy where to be on the field and at some point he's gonna catch on. But if he can't get to where he needs to be fast enough regardless of teaching him then it doesn't matter if he knew his job.

Yeah that's just on the surface though, factor in the FBS learning curve and our schedule and the result will be another 40+ppg defense ranked in the 120s.
