I dont know how well prepared they will be, they played a road game last night that wasnt over until after midnight. They were going to stay in Portland overnight and fly to Dallas today, but thats a full day trip, they wont get in until this evening, and there wont be much prep time before they need to sleep again. They'll have film time and shootaround before the game tomorrow, but they'll be coming into the game without a full practice to focus on SMU. If SMU comes to play, it's a chance to steal a quality win.

Huge game for Gonzaga in terms of post season and big game for us in terms of making it to the next tier of perception (whoa, man). I hope the oldies don't drink too much wine at dinner.

Nah, we are unphased. In fact, I called Tulsa as a trap game to my seat buds in Moody and I was proven right. Did I want us to lose? Heck no. But we aren't overlooking Gonzaga.

I've had this game circled since it was announced. Can't wait.

Exactly. SMU has huge advantages for this game, if we continue to let go of the rope, the nose dive will continue.

Let's see. Thus far this season the Zags have flown to Okinawa, Japan to open the college basketball season against Pitt (they were down 2 when the game was called due to a dangerously slippery floor at the U.S. Marine base where the game was held). They followed that up by flying to the Bahamas ... where they beat UConn, they beat Washington and lost by 1 to Texas A and M at the buzzer.

They fly domestically by private jet.... i.e. their team plane.

Somehow I don't think the trip from Portland, Oregon to Dallas, Texas is going to "wear" these guys out. They "should" be okay.... but your "concern" is certainly appreciated.

Looking forward to getting another quality win against a non-con. We will get right over the last few games of the season, win conference championship and build momentum for next year. Can't wait to get loud at Moody later....Go 'Stangs!

That's good, because I dont recall saying anything about the flight wearing them out. It was a discussion of "preparation". What I said was that the "Combination" of a "late" "night" "game", followed by a day long "flight" left "little" "preparation" "time" for a "game" played the next "day". I don't think I used the word "wear" any"where" in my previous post, so I'm not sure why it is in "quotation" "marks'. These "quotation "marks" sure are fun, though, maybe I "should" "concern" "myself" with finding a way to use "them" all "the" "time".

That was classic, BDE. Some real "humor" there.

GoZags - is it usual for the Zags to come pout for the shoot around and not return to the locker room prior to tip? I thought this was odd - but must be the way they roll. Was the Memphis Transfer in the house last night? (forget his name).
