At some point our fine University needs to decide whether to allocate the resources and join a handful of schools and bring suit against the NCAA for its arbitrary and capricious application of its own rules and punishment. For them to go in after the fact and modify Penn St and now Syracuse is an absolute injustice. This lawsuit won't follow the traditional lines of infractions, punishment and appeal. This needs to be a free standing case based on the individual cases and how punishment is doled out by the Infractions Committee. While the rules grant a tremendous amount of discretion to the NCAA, that power (granted by the member schools) cannot be all encompassing and unfettered.
How long do we keep saying, "this wouldn't happen to a power 5' school!" Eff it. Time to call the damn Texas Law Hawk. (Hawk squawk plays in the background)......
