It seems they changed their minds after futile attempts to convince the general public of that.
This year the "play-in" games are being called the FIRST FOUR and the "first round" is back to being the FIRST ROUND.
Leave it to the NCAA to be 1) Prompt 2) Perfectly Clear
I like "play-in" better than first four. I haven't looked at a bracket this year, so i will take your word for it. But to me, the first round always started thursday.
In my money bracket, I got the following first round upsets:
Hawaii over Cal Temple over Iowa Yale over Baylor UNI over UT VCU over Oregon St. Michigan over ND Pitts over Wisconsin Iona over ISU Syracuse over Dayton
Cal also just initiated an investigation into one of their assistants last week.. Some turmoil going on in that program. I picked the rainbow warriors with the upset too. Also went with vcu over Oregon state.

I wanted to take that Yale in my pool but switched cause I just couldn't do it. Well looking at my pool after the game I must have switched back to Yale and forgot. Such a great win. Baylor losing is always good for the heart.

It's not often i pace the living room and scream at the TV when my team isn't playing but between Yale and Little Rock.... My dogs thought I'd lost it.
