Why do you guys say this kid is a DITR?

TAPPS (especially the larger schools) play quality ball, they just don't the same talent pool as larger public schools. Assuming that a TAPPS school like TCA Addison or Bishop Dunn have facilities roughly equivalent to a local public school like Hillcrest, etc., you would expect to see roughly the same number of D1-quality athletes per capita as any other school.

I would expect the TAPPS athlete might have inflated stats due to not facing the larger talent pool of competition, but I don't think it's fair to assume that they have lesser skills or abilities. I do think it is fair to assume that they are better prepared to deal with the academic rigors of their freshman year at SMU though.

A quick search shows that Bishop Dunne has 7 players with D1 offers (including Hailey) in the class of 2017 alone.

4 of those 7 have multiple P5 offers.

Bishop Dunne has 6 players in SportsDay’s Top 100 for the class of 2017, second most of and DFW school, only behind DeSoto (http://interactives.dallasnews.com/2016 ... 1429543908).

Don't be worried about level of competition on this one.

Also, read this again, take a deep breath, and trust that Chad isn't June.
