I'll bet cheerleader camp makes more money than we could charge the Wings. It also lasts about 6 weeks. There are probably lots of other reasons and I don't blame us for saying no.

I went to this game and found it to be a lot more physical than I was expecting. If they keep winning, Tulsa's loss will be our gain. They had Zeigenbock, too, so I was happy. I'm simple.

SMU passed on FC Dallas before they built Toyota Park as well. They aren't interested in hosting professional sporting events anymore.

Why is that? I assume traffic is a big issue, also MLS would overlap with college football season. But it would be a great way to earn extra revenue for the athletic department and get more people on campus and interested in SMU.
