What did Grobes say about it?

Yet Baylor fans won't give a crap. They are blinded by success. They were oblivious even when they were going 2-10. Baylor fans are the most hypocritical I've ever met.

Stopped in Waco on way to Dallas and overhead a conversation on how this is UT and ESPNs fault. Thought I was living inside Ponyfans for a second

"I think he's going to be disciplined by a bunch of people -- the city is gonna get a piece of him, and our university doesn't take it lightly," Grobe said. "There will be some sanctions from the university and, from an athletic department standpoint, we'll do some things. But hopefully it's a teaching moment and a learning experience for him."

Zamora, a sophomore, caught nine passes for 132 yards and two touchdowns last year and is projected to be a starter for the Bears this season.

Grobe called Zamora's situation "an ongoing thing" and said the staff already knew about the incident and would not tolerate it.

"I think he just was frustrated and spanked his dog for not being house-trained, and you just can't do that," Grobe said. "He knows that. He loves the dog and takes great care of the dog, other than, you know, losing his temper with the dog. I think he's taken pretty good care of him."

Yeah. Go to Baylorfans.com. The conspiracy theories over there are just stupid.

I you have not watched this video, it is bad.

Well over half of the Baylor fans @ baylorfans.com are minimizing the incident, excusing it, deflecting or directing blame elsewhere":

http://www.baylorfans.com/forums/showth ... p?t=310908

I really think our fans and posters would be much classier, but please if this crap ever comes to light on a SMU Player (and I hope that it doesn't), do not circle the wagons. Please do not:

Minimize: He 's young. We've all done stupid things. He paid his fine. Move on.
Deflect: Yeah, what about abortion (yeah, a baylorfan actually says this), it's worse? What about that TCU guy? He did something worse. This shouldn't reflect poorly on the Univ. or Baylor Football (too bad, it does).
Blame others: It's UT, NCAA, TCU, KDFW and political correctness that are to blame.

Honestly, I hope that we never have to choose whether or not to defend a SMU player for such, but if so I hope that we all post comments that we would be proud of later and "in the light of day".

The problem is not having these idiots on your team, it's not reacting appropriately when you find out about their actions. This type of nonsense will probably happen at SMU eventually. I just hope our coaches would be very clear about the fact that this type of behavior is completely unacceptable and as such kick them off the team. Baylor is not in trouble for having players that raped women, it's because they knew about it and instead of expelling the players from the university protected them and covered it up. Given their current predicament, I am surprised this player has not been kicked off the team. He needs anger management and therapy. Once he resolves his issues, maybe he can play football again.

If he had done that to my dog , he wouldn't have to worry about playing football for Baylor or anyone else !!!

In all fairness they were both drunk, the dog was dressed as a floozy and obviously wanted it to happen. The dog never once said no but the [deleted] changed her mind, complained to the athletic department, was coerced not to complain and had to leave Waco with her tail between her legs. Ken Starr refused to answer the dog's emails.

The "staff already knew" about the previous crimes carried out by players - seems "the staff" chose to tolerate those. Staff -1 is still intact.
